Summary
Roboticists in Germany have taught a drone how to land itself on a moving automobile. The researchers from the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) have demonstrated their aircraft safely landing on a car fitted with a net travelling at up to 75 km/h (47mph).
They suggest the technology could be adapted to let unmanned aircrafts be built without wheels to let them stay airborne for longer periods of time.
